Employee Communications & Employee Benefit Statements Integration
This is not a decision that needs to me made immediately, but you should know that the capability exists and can be easily implemented in the future.
As you know, HR Communications does not used 'canned software'.  Instead, we set up a customized database that is specific to your organization.  
Doing this allows 'data' to be be repurposed for a different, future employee communications project.  Examples - Employee data, images, code tables, forms, etc. can be recombined into an entirely different type of Project.  Result? Development time for a new Employee Communications Project is relatively minimal.  A 'new' project that would ordinarily require 100 hours may be done in 25.
Your communications efforts will be streamlined, consolidated & much more effective.  
Employee Communications Example #1:The Initial Project is an 'Employee Benefits Statement'.  All goes well.  Three months later, you'd like a 'Personalized Recruiting Document' that would be presented to preferred job canditates.  Simiar to the Benefits statement, but with alterations.
Piece of cake.  100 hours reduced to 25.More effective recruiting leads to better hires.  A Win - Win for the organization.
Employee Communications Example #2:The Initial Project is an 'Employee Attitude Survey'.  All goes well.  
Three months later, you'd like an 'Employee Testing  Module' that will measure the effectiveness and knowledge level of specific employees within certain job classes.  Of course, you also want summary reports, charts and aggregates.
