Our short story.HR Communications has been around for 20 + years, creating personalized content with a broad and expensive swath of desktop applications. In fact at one point we counted > 100 of them. Everything from database software to design programs, utilities to charting apps.
We got tired of it.- Cost, Multiple licenses, Cross platform challenges- Incompatible apps that had to work together- Redundant and/or infrequently used features.- Customers that had 'flavor A', but we had 'B'.When the day was done, we still needed to run to FedEx or send a solo-use (monstrous) PDF. Then we'd sit & wait for feedback. Wasted time for everyone.Then we had an idea. The kind that won't let you sleep.
Eight years ago, we realized we needed a way for people to work together at the same time and be on the same page. That idea is now named 'SaaS'. We now feel we have the most powerful & flexible Knowledge Management System on the market.
